I am deeply involved in the study of the spiritual aspect of humanity and those writings and images which suggest what humans ought to strive to be in their behavioral patterns. The fact that throughout history, people could find comfort in sacred literature and images speakes to both their power and also the intensity of man's spiritual quest. I use these sacred subjects in an attempt to create an art that is a kind of diety. Many of my images are reminiscent of my travels. This imagery gives my imagination free reign to explore surfaces on which to place these words and images which tell the mystery of human destiny, of change, of fate and the quest for knowledge and spiritual growth. This series of work is a record of time: kept through a personal collection of meaningful words and illustrations. I work with several media trying always to address myself to the world around me physically and spiritually.I chronicle the birth of a new person quietly and mystically.
